I have changed all of the footpegs on my 97 Savage and am very pleased with the new look and feel. I used the Highway Hawk brand pegs that are supposedly made specifically for the Savage because I was new to customizing and had a phobia of ordering the wrong parts! haha But after receiving and installing the pegs (as you will see when you take the old ones off) any male mount peg will probably work. I do not know what type is on the Ace but if they are male mount it's worth a shot to give them a try. The old ones remove pretty easily. If they do not work, Kuryakyn I know makes male mount pegs which were a good amount cheaper than the Highway Hawk brand. Good luck!
